I am a registered GP by profession, with more than 30 years’ experience of NHS practice.I was a local GP and GP trainer until 2004 when I left my practice to train in the art of Traditional Chinese Acupuncture. I have been practising since 2007 and now successfully integrate Western Acupuncture with traditional routes of practice as described by TCM and Five Element acupuncture. Additional skills allow me to take an holistic view of the symptoms I see in my patients. I have postgraduate qualifications in Sports and Exercise Medicine, Women’s Health, Functional Medicine and Metabolic Balance®. I qualified as an executive Life Coach in 2014 and I am a Mentor and Appraiser.

What Patients Can Expect

I use an online intake form to give me the most information about a patient before I meet them. In this way, I will have worked on the information for approximately an hour before my patient has their first appointment. That appointment allows for vital measurements to be incorporated into the information gained from the previous questionnaires. A treatment plan/further investigation is then agreed. Follow up questionnaires allows an objective view of progress and modification of the plan in line with recovery.
